The third weekend in July marked the Big Beaver Bash! My step-dad Jeff turned 50 this year and my mom turned 45. This called for celebration! Friends and family helped us celebrate in Beaver for the birthdays. Complete with great food [[raccoon included...yes I said it....]], cold drinks, yard games, bonfire, and lots of laughs. It was an extremely hot and humid day so shade was a must but everyone had a great time!

The next weekend, we planned to attend a Honker's game but that got cancelled due to Joe getting injured. He got into an accident on his mini-bike and tore up the inside of his knee. He had stitches in both sides and we have to re-pack the hole daily. It makes for getting around difficult, as well as painful. He is healing now and feeling much better! Because of his injury, he had to miss out on the Frankie Ballard concert! Rochester holds an event on Sundays in the summer called
Down by the Riverside and they hold free concerts. Frankie Ballard happened to be performing and since Kaylyne and I saw him at our Taylor Swift concert and really enjoyed it, we decided to go. It was a beautiful evening with friends and we had a great time!
